The path has a total overall lenght of 2 kilometers, but the path is about 6 kilometres long departing from Limone south (round trip is around 12 km, a nice walk for families and tourists), awaiting completion to Riva del Garda. It is walkable 24 hours a day and illuminated at night.
Strada de la Forra
The Strada de la Forra (The Street of the Gorge) is amazing. It is carved into the rock at some points and at others it juts out from the cliffs, leaving you in awe. At the opening, in 1913, a correspondent for the Frankfurter Zeitung defined it as the most beautiful street in the world.
Travelling on it, in a few minutes you go from the animated Garda shore to the tranquillity of the plateau. The terraces overlooking the lake reveal Nature in all its glory.
